Happy New Year

My new Years Resolution! I'm not making one, I just want 2008 to be better than 2007.
2007 by far was the hardest year of my life. If I started to tell you all the things I've been through you wouldn't believe me! So I'll just say I'm glad to say goodbye to 2007. I mean, I'm thankful that the Lord let me live through it but man I barely did. I just wanted to take a second to say thanks to you! My job is very important to me, and just to know that you listen and make a point to tune me in from 6-midnight means so much to me. Without great listeners like you I wouldn't be in radio. When I was in the wreck several of you e-mailed me to check up on me, if I missed a day of work, some of you listeners were calling and e-mailing trying to find out where I was. It means a lot! You have no idea! So Thanks, and I hope we can grow closer in 2008!I hope your New Years, is as special as they come!

Chinese Gift Exchange

Have you ever heard of a Chinese Gift Exchange? There GREAT fun! 24 people participated in this years gift exchange, the way it works is, everyone gets a number, number one opens a present, number two can either steal the present the first person opened or open a new present, then so on and so forth....

When my number came up I stole a gift rather than opening one. Unfortunately EVERYONE wanted my awesome gift, so I got it stole from me......Luckily though in the end I wound up with a really AWESOME gift anyways.

Chinese gift exchanges are so much fun.....Companies everywhere should have em!

My biggest fans!

I met two of my biggest fans last night. Peyton Ratliff and Tonya Johnson. After work I decided to try and find something to wear to the radio stations Christmas party this Friday (woohoo)...while I was shopping they asked me why I was trying on so many dress pants....for my Christmas party I said...
"where do you work?" They asked
Then I proceeded to tell them I was Tia Maria from Z-Rock 107.5....they were so precious they told me they listened to me every night. I was so flattered. What sweet people!
So this is a BIG shout out to Tonya and Peyton at fashion Bug in Pikeville you two are totally adorable!

Yummy!

I hosted to Friday night Z-line and and as I was hosting the show, I started talking about how hungry I was and how much I would LOVE to have some Huddle House food but I was stuck in the studio until 10:00! About 5 minutes later I get a call from this lady, she says what do you want from Huddle House I'm bringing you food.....AWESOME, I'll take a hamburger and some hash browns!.....She brought it to me, I ate it all, and it was so incredibly delicious. Thank you so much, and oh yeah and Kudos to the chef...Chris it was scrumptious!

Christmas Shopping!

I went Christmas shopping! Not for me though...for all the kids that come to the East Kentucky Expo Center tonight Thursday December 13th for the Mountain Christmas sing along! We had so much fun buying Barbie's, and swords, and well we bought a lot! Come out tonight to the Expo Center and sing with me....from 6-8!

Tennessee

Ben and I went to Tennessee! It was so much fun, we had a wonderful dinner and show. You know one of those cheesy murder mystery shows where you try to find out who the killer is while you eat a dinner that cost about triple what it's worth.....yeah that's what we did! By the way, my table was the smartest. By that I mean we solved the mystery. We were the only table out of 13 to get it right.....YAY!

Well just thought I would let you know what I did this weekend!

The Tree!

Merry Christmas! Isn't my Christmas tree pretty? It was a beast to put together but totally worth it. I would say I spent 3 hours putting it together and fluffing it out! Once the darn thing was up I had to decorate it, that was the fun part though, the theme is silver and white. And in hopes of a white Christmas Ben and I put snowflakes and icicles all over it. I like my Christmas tree, it's the prettiest one I've had EVER! I want to see your Christmas tree, send me pictures of your tree and I will send you movie passes, that seems like a pretty fair trade off!
