The tailgating party!

You missed a good time! I hosted a tailgating party on Saturday that the East Kentucky Expo Center had. We had so much fun! There was free food, and prizes, and when I say prizes I mean GOOD prizes not just T-shirts, we were giving away tickets to see Hinder and Dierks Bentley!

Question? Has anyone out there ever heard of cornhole? Apparently it's the newest game that people play, I don't get it, but it's very popular game. Two guy's won tickets to see Hinder just because they were the cornhole champions.

Well, I'll post some more pics of the party soon. And don't forget tonight to be at the Mark II for the Appalachian Wireless Pikeville College/ UK basketball party! Pick up your free pass at any Appalachian Wireless store. You have to be 21 years or older to get in! I'll be there!

It's all going down Wednesday night! You need to be there, Appalachian Wireless and East Kentucky Broadcasting is having a Pikeville College/UK basketball party at the Mark II in Pikeville! It starts at 6:00 and there's going to be free Pepsi and Pikeville college UK cake! Don't forget to register to win a 46 inch HD TV! Admission is ABSOLUTELY FREE! All you have to do is go to ANY Appalachian Wireless store and pick up a ticket. You must be 21 years of age or older. I'm going to be there, so should you! Come hang out tomorrow at 6:00 at the Mark II for the Pikeville College/ UK basketball party! The games going to be on big screens, it's going to be a blast!

My weekend....

Hey all!
How was your weekend? Mine was fine I guess. Thursday night was terrible! Please....don't make me explain it just know that I am glad Thursday night is over, and never want another night like that again! Friday I work at the Big Boy Toy Show, then went home and straight to bed. (fun stuff I know)....Saturday I worked The Big Boy Toy Show again, and get this.....I climbed the rock wall that the Army National Guard brought. It was very entertaining....let me just say ...there's no real graceful way to fall off those things. I managed to watch part of the game after work too. Yeah I watched UK loose, it's a good thing I watched the game alone because you can bet your bottom dollar I was yelling at the T.V. and I threw my shoe at it too. It's embarrassing but I really can't hold myself back! Well....that sums up my weekend. Oh no I ate at Shoney's breakfast bar, it was good...I ate to much though...GAG!

Did you know?

Here's something you may not have known about Tia Maria! I sing! Well...I use to sing. I don't really anymore, except for the Harvest Fest. When I was about 13 I sung in a talent show that the Harvest Fest was having and I won. Every year since they've asked me back to sing as entertainment, so around this time every year I warm up the vocal cords and high tail it to Martin County to get my sing on. The adorable red head in the top picture is my mom, she's NEVER missed watching me sing, not even once and I use to sing somewhere every weekend! The middle picture is..... well......me singing...(like duh) and the bottom picture is my poppa! He is so awesome! He has came to watch me sing, covered in coal dust because he would leave straight from work (the coal mines) and come directly to watch me sing, without showering just so he wouldn't miss it! Oh yeah....thanks dad for warming my hands up before I sang......Truly they felt like ice cubes!

I just wanted to let you listeners know something about me that you may not have known. Next time I sing....you should come! I mean you hear me daily on the radio....just not singing hahaha!

I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!!

As you know Halloween is coming up! I LOVE Halloween! I like dressing up and handing out candy and going to parties and you know the whole nine yards! The thing is I don't know what I should be this year. I'm thinking Betty Boop. What do you think? It would be easy to do, get a short black wig, an incredibly revealing red dress (which I think I already have hahahaha) and paint my lips a vibrant red. I think I could pull it off. Do you have any better ideas? I'm totally open for suggestion. Last year I was a cowgirl. It was a listeners idea. He won two movie passes. What MORONS!

This is a prime example of two idiots who are famous for no reason. Johnny Fairplay, the blond is the guy from Survivor that said his grandma had died just so that he could win a challenge. And everyone knows who Danny Bonaduche is right?....Anyways, at some awards show Johnny Fairplay gets booed by the audience, when he asks why, Danny feels the need to tell him that everyone hates him, then Johnny Fairplay breaks out his signature, grab and hump move, to which Danny pretty much defends himself causing Johnny to bust his lip and hurt his wrist. Johnny Fairplay actually left the awards show in an ambulance....

What loser's! Both of them. Who is wrong here, we the people are... cause we allow people like this to be our entertainment. It's relatively pathetic. I take full responsibility. But from here on out...I'm watching animal planet. At least on there I know the animals are intentionally acting like morons, just for publicity. Plus, I kind of like watching snakes eat things twice there size....HAHAHA!

The good kind of family!

Isn't family funny?....Some of your family love you regardless of what you do or how many mistakes you make. Than others in your family will turn on you with the drop of a dime. The family member pictured above is a family member that loves you regardless or better yet loves me regardless she could probably care less about you hahahaha! Tona is married to my cousin Quickon, yes his name is Quickson....his mom liked unique names....obviously! But Quickson is more like my brother! My parents kind of raised him (poor kid!)....HAHAHA! I never get to see them but they decided to come in and visit this past weekend. It was Tona's birthday! I bought her an ice cream cake! It was so tasty.... Her husband didn't buy her a birthday cake. can you believe that?...Just FYI I always want a birthday cake on my birthday....no matter how old I am I WANT A BIRTHDAY CAKE....OK now I'm acting like a baby and getting off subject. Really I just wanted to say Happy B-day to Tona and tell her and Quickson and their kids Alex and Sidney....I love you all, your are the good kind of family, really! Awwww....I'm sweet right?
